It then moved to Wayfarer Marine in Camden and was finished at Derektor's in Georgetown. The Spirit of Tradition design draws inspiration from the J-Class yachts of the 1930s. She is built of cold-molded mahogany with teak decks and traditional joinery. In 2018, a new carbon fiber rig was built by Southern Spars and custom-painted to look like varnished wood.
